And truly we trust that you are looking forward to that day where we shall see the King. The last two songs we sang speak of the fact that Christ will return. And the Bible tells us that he is going to return for his bride to church and the rapture will occur.
And that will set into motion the series of events that will culminate in the end of history, as this world knows it, with the second return of Christ to earth where he will judge and come against the enemies of Israel and ultimately establish his kingdom for a thousand year reign. This morning we want to continue our study through the book of Daniel. We’re coming towards the end of Daniel.
And this morning we continue in Daniel chapter 12. Last week we looked at the fact that Daniel was told to shut up the words and to seal the book. But there was coming a day where men would be able to understand.
But Daniel at this time in history wasn’t going to be given all the details. Last week we looked at the fact that John in the book of Revelation was given much more detail about what would happen in the last days. And as one looks at the events that are occurring in our world today, everything is being put in motion that this is the last days.
The Bible tells us that we as Christians are to be prepared because the Lord can come at any time to catch up his church unto himself. The apostle Paul said that we are to live as if the Lord could return today. But it doesn’t mean that you go out to some mountain in Montana, go away and become a recluse.
It means you have to work all that harder for the kingdom of heaven and to be used by God to touch people’s lives that don’t know Jesus Christ. And the Bible speaks of the fact that in the last days that would be a multitude of people that would walk in rebellion and be ready to rebel against God and to follow the one that is referred to as the Antichrist. Today I want us to take a look at Daniel chapter 12 verse 5.
Daniel 12:5-9
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Let’s just go to the Lord in prayer.
Heavenly Father, as I come before you this morning, Lord, I pray that you would just help us to be able to look into your Word and to realize we’re one day closer to that day. Lord, I pray that we as your people would be excited. Excited to see the fact that there’s coming a day where justice shall be maintained, where righteousness shall be exalted, where truth shall be common amongst men, and that which is wicked shall be judged and destroyed.
Lord, I pray that you would just be with us now as we look into your Word and help us to understand what is spoken of and who this man in linen is. This we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Daniel saw this man dressed in linen one other time, and that was found in chapter 10. If you have your Bibles, then we’ll turn with me to chapter 10 of the book of Daniel. We’ll read the first nine verses where Daniel sees this same man dressed in linen, and we come to understand who this is.
Daniel 12:1-9
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; 5 then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 6 his body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
As we looked at this a few weeks ago, you find this same explanation of a man that has the same appearance in the book of Revelation, and it’s the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the one that spoke all things into being, and it is the one that will come to judge all things in the end, and it is the one to whom every living creature shall bow the knee and shall confess that he is Lord.
Daniel sees him again, and this time he sees him in the midst of this river, and there’s a man on either side, and these would be angels, and the angels are asking him, How long? How long after the things that have been revealed to Daniel will it be before the end will come? The Lord Jesus Christ tells them the length of time. Three and a half years. Three and a half years.
When we go to the book of Revelation, you discover that there’s events that occur that lead us to know when that three and a half years begin. It’s the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel. Seventy weeks of seven years.
We studied last week about the fact that the nation of Israel, on many churches today, is not looked upon as being true Israel, and that Jews are not looked upon as being true Jews, but yet the Word of God tells us they are. And He tells us that we are to take the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, and they are to be the clock by which we look at where we are at in the last days. And as we get closer to the end, certain events will go into place that Scripture have told us about, and we will be able to see.
The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, which we looked at briefly last week, talked about the fact that there would be great apostasy coming on those that claim to be believers, false teaching entering into those that claim to be His. That is the mark of the church today. We also see that Jesus talked about the fact that there would be wars and rumors of wars.
And if you look at what the words that are used, it would be ethnos, rising up against ethnos, or ethnic group against ethnic group. Is that happening today? You look at what is happening in the Middle East. The wars that are going on there.
It is ethnic group against ethnic group. In Africa, ethnic group against ethnic group. You look around the world, and the very thing that Jesus said would be happening in the last days is happening.
He also said that there would be a multitude of increasing earthquakes around the world. I don’t know if any of you saw, but there are those that make that their living. They are called seismologists.
They study the earth’s movements and the earthquakes around the world. I had a lady that used to attend here, and she loves to go, there is a site you can go on and see how many earthquakes happen today. Guess what she said? They are increasing.
And guess what is happening? They are increasing in intensity. I don’t know if we will get to look at this particular verse later on in the service, but the Bible talks about the fact that when Jesus returns, He is going to return and His foot is going to go upon the Mount of Olives. We have stood on the Mount of Olives.
Roberta and I had the opportunity to go to Israel. We stood on the Mount of Olives. As you are on the west side of the Mount of Olives, you look towards the city of Jerusalem, and you are looking at the eastern gate in the city wall on the west side of the Mount of Olives.
There is an interesting thing that some seismologists have discovered is occurring with the Mount of Olives. There is a fissure that is beginning to happen on the Mount of Olives. A crack in the earth.
They have also studied the underlying topography and makeup of the ground underneath the Mount of Olives in that particular area. There is a giant fissure that runs, I forget the name of it, but it deals with the fact that where Jerusalem is, it is at the point where Africa, Asia, and Europe come together. There is a huge fissure there, and they are waiting for another major earthquake.
If you have been watching the news, there have been some major earthquakes occurring in Turkey, which is very close to Israel. It is right north and a little bit west of Israel. The earth is groaning, just as it is reported in Apostle Paul where he said, that the earth groans and longs for the day of her redemption.
Why? Because the earth is under the condemnation of Adam’s sin, just as we all are. And the only way it will be redeemed is through Jesus Christ, just like the only way we have our sins forgiven is through His blood. And ultimately, this creation will only once again be established and all of the signs of sin removed when the Lord establishes ultimately the new kingdom, the new heavens and the new earth.
Now, as we look at what Daniel was shown in Daniel chapter 12, he was told of the fact that the Lord, as He stood in the midst of the river, and the angels inquired, How long? How long before the end? And He said, three and a half years. Three and a half years, where does that come? Well, you go back and you see that as you see all of these events occurring, Jesus said it was the beginning of the end. But it wasn’t the end.
He said that there was going to come a man who would establish a covenant with Israel, and He would establish peace in the Middle East. Well, as you can see, our current president isn’t doing real well. He keeps coming on every day and saying, we’ve got a peace accord, we’ve got a peace accord, we’ve got an agreement, and then the next day, no we don’t.
And as a matter of fact, those of you who have been going through us with Ezekiel, we’re getting to the point of Ezekiel where Ezekiel is going to be talking about the invasion of Turkey and its allies against Israel, and Israel will not be able to defend itself, and God will come to their defense. And that’s a future event, but it doesn’t look very far in the future. As a matter of fact, Erdogan, the leader of Turkey, is very pro-Islamic and very anti-Israel.
When asked, will we be able to deal with Iran, Benjamin Netanyahu said, we are on the verge of defeating Iran, but the next one that we have to deal with is Turkey, and they are going to be harder than Iran. So what’s the solution? What’s the answer? Well, the Bible tells us that Satan has an answer, and his answer is to get the whole world to follow him. And what he does is, when the church is raptured, it sends off a series of events.
Now Paul tells us, and the Lord Himself said, no one knows the day or the hour that that event is going to occur except the Father. And so you and I are always to be prepared. Paul himself, while he was still living, was looking for the Lord to return and rapture him.
Throughout the history of the church, true Bible-believing Christians have believed in the rapture, and have always anticipated it could occur at any time. That’s why we are to always be prepared. Some people say, well, and there are those that have become, within the church, bringing false doctrine, and say that we have to take over the world, and so consequently they say Jesus can’t return for the church until righteousness reigns throughout the world.
Well, my Bible doesn’t teach me that. And the Apostle Paul did not believe that, because the Apostle Paul said that we are to be prepared at any moment or any time for the rapture to occur. Well, it means that each one of us needs to be living our lives righteously, as salt and light in the midst of darkness.
And Jesus Himself gave us the example, which we studied a few weeks ago, of the virgins with the lamps, the ten foolish virgins and the ten wise virgins. The wise virgins had their lamps trimmed and oil ready. The foolish virgins didn’t have any oil for their lamps, and they couldn’t enter in.
We are to have oil in our lamps, we are to be walking in the power of God’s Spirit, we are to be prepared. And when the rapture does occur, then you can start looking for the sign that you can actually know when the next events will happen.
First of all, it says that there will be this peace treaty that will be made between Israel and all of her enemies. And it will be instigated and put in place by the one that is referred to in Scripture as the Antichrist. And the world will look upon him as being brilliant, as having all the solutions and answers to man’s problems, because he has been able to do what no man could do before, and that is bring peace to an area of the world that has been under constant conflict for thousands of years. And as he does that, Israel will put all their trust in him. And if you go to Israel today, those Jewish people that have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are looking for the Messiah. Especially those that have any leaning towards the Bible at all, the Orthodox or the ultra-Orthodox. And they are looking for a man that can do just what this man will do.
Just as their ancestors, when Jesus entered Jerusalem on Passover, the majority of the people that were crying out, Hosanna to the King of David, salvation in this day, were looking for Jesus to deliver them from Rome, not to deliver them from their sin. They will be looking for the wrong Messiah. And the thing is, they are going to embrace him, because he is going to appear to have all the answers, and he is going to be like no man has ever been before.
But what is going to happen, and as you look at what is going on around the world today, in the nation of Israel, there are those Jewish people who are getting all ready to rebuild the temple. And people say, how can that be? Because Temple Mount has got the mosque, the golden mosque on there, and the mosque of Al-Aqsa, one of the major mosques as well. And how can that happen? Well, a lot of people believe the Santa Christ will make it happen.
They will be allowed to rebuild their temple. We know that the temple has to be rebuilt, because the mark that Jesus is speaking of here, the three and a half years, is the midpoint of the tribulation, which causes the great tribulation to go into effect. Now, what is the difference between the tribulation and the great tribulation? Both of these three and a half year periods, which culminate in a seven year period, deal with the nation of Israel ultimately.
When we were way back at the beginning of Daniel, we saw that there were 70 weeks that God was going to use to deal with the sin of Israel. And what was the sin of Israel? The sin of Israel is that they totally ignored God’s word and did not do what God had established that they do. And it surrounded the fact that they had not allowed years of jubilee and celebrated them, and so there was to be this, the number 70 was tied to that.
69 weeks have gone by and been fulfilled, and we see that the 69th week culminated when the Messiah was cut off, when Jesus died. The 70th week begins when the treaty is made with Israel. During the 70th week, it’s going to be the hardest week on Jewish people that has ever been in the history of the world, and that speaks a lot.
Because if you look at the history of the Jewish people, they’ve always been persecuted by the world because Satan has always hated them. Satan hates that which God loves, and he comes against and persecutes that which God holds dear. And mankind has been a willing tool in Satan’s hand to attempt to destroy the Jewish people.
What Satan will do is he’s going to come against the Jewish people in a big way, and it’s going to manifest itself at the midpoint of the tribulation. That is referred to as Jacob’s trouble, and in the Bible where the Lord says the descendants of Jacob will experience trouble like they’ve never experienced before. This morning I want us to take a look, just briefly, out of the book of Revelation at some things that are going to happen during this last three and a half years.
Daniel is told that he is not going to be able to reveal this. He’s to shut up the book, but it’s coming at a later day. He was told that those that are wise would understand, and those that did not would not understand.
Francis Schaeffer talked about the fact that at all times what we have going on is like what the Chinese theater used to do. The Chinese theater used to have two main stages, one above the other. The upper stage, what was happening there, would have a direct impact on the story on the lower stage, but the lower stage didn’t really understand the impact that the upper stage was having on the lower stage, and the audience could observe both stages and see this interplay of two stories, but yet they were one.
That is what’s happening in our lives. We live in a physical world. We see physical things.
We do not see angels. We do not see demons. But I want to tell you today, right now, there are angels and demons even in this place here.
The Bible text tells us that there is a great spiritual battle going on, and as the end of the age comes, it’s only going to intensify, and we will see the impact of it on human lives, and what we do and what we believe, and the wickedness that’s penetrating our hearts and souls, but we will not see the main causes behind it of the satanic influence and what Satan is doing to attempt to influence history for evil. At the same time that that is going on, as we saw last week, Michael the archangel was sent to, and Daniel saw that he’d been sent in the last days to be with Israel to protect Israel. These are real events.
We can’t see them. One of the things is, a lot of Christians, we do not understand the significance and the importance of prayer, because God calls us to pray. Remember at the beginning of the book of Daniel, and part of the scripture that we just read earlier in chapter 10, Daniel had really fasted for three weeks, crying out, and the Lord appeared to him, and was going to reveal to him things about the last days, and about the nation of Israel.
We don’t understand how our prayers make a difference, because we do not influence God, but yet God tells us to pray. He tells us the importance of prayer. We’ve got elections coming up.
Do you think it’s important to pray that God would give us men and women who hold His righteous values and truth as the way they want to govern? Because I can tell you, there are those that are involved in the occult that are very serious about this.

Many of you have had the opportunity, when we had our conferences, where Taro Teichrib would come down from Canada and he would speak at our conferences.
He spoke at the Prophecy Conference in Canada as well. One of the things that Carl does is, he has gone to Minneapolis, which is a hotbed of occult activity and Wiccan, or witches’ covens. And they have a conference every year in Minneapolis, a witches’ conference for witches and warlocks.
He’s gone to it. They take very seriously calling on Satan. And if you look at what’s happening in Minneapolis, it doesn’t surprise me that there’s a strong occultic influence in that city.
Where you have Islam, which is really the exact opposite of biblical Christianity and really has its roots deep in the occult, having a great influence on the city. LBGTQ things have a great influence in the city. But Christians, we don’t take seriously, God tells us we’re to pray.
We’re to pray for one another. We’re to pray for our children. We’re to pray for our grandchildren.
We’re to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. We’re to call on the name of the Lord. In the last days, the church is going to be removed.
Now the amazing thing is God’s grace is still going to be here. Because there are people that will get saved during what is referred to as the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation. And we understand that that’s a reality because you can read in the book of Revelation that there are those that have been martyred during this period of time that will say, how long Lord, how long before your justice will come.
So on the one hand, you have Satan, who when the Antichrist will come to power, will be doing everything on the physical level to come against anything that is righteous and holy and to establish Satan’s kingdom on earth. But on the other hand, in the heavenly realms, in the book of Revelation, it tells us that God is going to pour out His judgment on the earth because man has become so wicked that they’d rather worship Satan than Him. And it’s interesting, if you go to the book of Revelation, and you look at Revelation chapters 15 and 16, you begin to see what is referred to as the last three and a half years.
And it’s also talking about at that time the vile judgments. There are seven vile judgments, and the viles are God pouring out His wrath on mankind. And part of the reason He’s pouring out His wrath on mankind is because of what mankind is doing not only to His name, but to that which He loves.
At the midpoint of the tribulation, the Antichrist will desecrate the temple that has been rebuilt in Jerusalem, and he will cause an abomination of desolation to occur on the altar of that temple, and he will offer a sacrifice like Antichrist Epiphanes did where he offered a pig on the altar in Jerusalem. The Antichrist is going to desecrate that altar. At the same time, the one who had put at the beginning of what we refer to as the last seven years of history, as we know it, the tribulation period, who had established a peace treaty with Israel and all the other enemies in the Middle East, will now turn upon Israel, and he will seek to destroy Israel.
And he will have control over the nations of the world, and he will bring the nations of the world against Israel. People who say Israel isn’t for today, they’re ignoring half the Bible. It’s also interesting, I just want to share with you quickly what those seven vile judgments are that the Lord does.
If you would turn with me to the book of Revelation and refer to His vile or bold judgments, God causes judgments to come on the world, and these judgments are very similar to the judgments that were brought against Egypt. Many of them are the same. When Israel was delivered, the first bold or vile judgment will be grievous sores that are going to be on men, and they won’t be able to cause them to be removed.
And they’ll cry out in pain and nothing will solve the problem. Something very similar to what happened in Egypt. Something that as you look at our culture today, and look at what’s happening with medicine, it’s something that God is using judgment on things that men say won’t happen.
The second bold judgment is it says that the seas will be smitten and turned to blood. If you go back under an earlier judgment, God causes one quarter of the earth’s oceans to be turned to blood. This is the whole world’s oceans will be turned to blood.
The impact of this on mankind, we do not understand how much the ocean is significant and important to us. It’s where we get our rains from, and our weather from. It comes from the ocean.
Much of our food comes from the ocean. All the fishes. That’s going to be greatly impacted.
Men aren’t going to call out to God though and repent. Instead, they’re going to start cursing God. The third one is found in chapter 16, verse 4 of Revelation.
Revelation 16:4
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
And not only will the oceans be smitten, but the rivers. In Revelation 16, verse 4, He said, A third angel poured out of his vial upon the rivers and the fountains of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art and was and shall be, because Thou hast judged thus.
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink, for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Thy judgments. If you look today, some of the great world leaders, if you would, say we need to get rid of a population.
World Economic Forum, along with Bill Gates, says about 2 billion people would be a good starting point. But I don’t see them putting their names on the list. It’s rather interesting.
As I mentioned, there are people who will come to faith in Christ during the tribulation period. And one of the things that will happen is it will be just about instant martyrdom. And you’re saying, well, how could they find them? Well, look at what’s happening in our world today.
In the city of Fargo, we’ve got cameras. Did you know how many cameras we’ve got in the city of Fargo? For facial recognition and to track vehicles. Well, it’s amazing.
People, they need to find, they can never find. But you and me, they could find in a minute. During this time, the economic situation is going to be where they can track you by your economics.
But everything you buy and sell will be traced. They can tell you where you bought. They can tell you where you’re selling.
They can tell you where you’re at. They’ll know where you work. They know where you live.
Not only that, as you look at the world, what they want to do is they want to have 15-minute communities. They want everybody in the world to live in 15-minute communities. That is, you live in a community where you cannot go any further than you could ride a bike or walk in 15 minutes.
They want absolute control over your lives. Part of it is, when you disagree with them, economically they can shut you off. And you disagree too much, they will snuff your life out.
They have no regard for life. They do not, and my wife and I were talking, and she made an astute observation. She said, you know something? They don’t think men have souls.
They don’t think it matters. You and I are just another organism. We’re not created in the image of God.
We don’t bear His mark on our body. And so consequently, to snuff us out means nothing. That’s why Hitler could do what he did.
He did not look at them as humans. As a matter of fact, he called the Jewish people subhuman. He called the gypsies subhuman.
And it enabled a whole group of people to put in their mind that they could kill them and there would be no consequences. Because they really weren’t human. Today you can go to Canada, and you have euthanasia in Canada.
And it’s for people that don’t necessarily want to die. God says, the angel says, It’s worthy that they drink blood, for they shed it. But it doesn’t stop there.
As God’s wrath is poured out on the earth. The fourth bowl. It says, And they repented not to give Him glory.
Today, you’ve got people that believe they can somehow control the sun. The people that are on flotillas against what’s happening in the Middle East. The people that are Greenpeacers.
Bill Gates, who’s paying to have aluminum and other metal particles placed in our atmosphere. To try and block the sun. Guess what? When God says, the sun is going to scorch you, the sun will scorch you.
And there’s not a thing they can do. But instead of acknowledging God as creator, they’re going to curse God and blasphemy Him. Then it says, and not only that, the fifth thing will come.
It says in verse 10 of chapter 16 of Revelation, The fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast. And his kingdom was full of darkness. And they gnawed their tongues for pain.
And blasphemed the God of heaven. Because of their pains and their sores. And repented not of their deeds.
This could be physical darkness. But as I mentioned, Jesus said, I am the light of the world. There’s going to be absolute spiritual darkness in the world.
And between the spiritual darkness and the physical darkness that will come, there’s no hope. Except to call out to God, but they refuse to do it. Then the sixth bowl.
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates. And the water thereof was dried up. And the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon. And out of the mouth of the beast. And out of the mouth of the false prophet.
These spirits that appeared as frogs, demonic spirits. For they are the spirits of devils. Working miracles which go forth upon the kings of the earth.
And of the whole world. To gather them to battle of that great day of God Almighty. So, it’s interesting.
The Euphrates river is drying up right now. It hasn’t completely dried up. But it’s drying up.
Interesting things are happening in India and China. China had a one child policy for years. Most of the families that had one child chose to have a son.
And they allowed abortions so you could abort your baby if it wasn’t what you wanted. Right now, there are a huge number of more young men in China and no wives for them. No women.
The Bible talks about a 200 million man army that’s going to come from the east. This could very well be China and India. But it’s also interesting what will happen in the face of all of these other judgments from God.
That the world ignores and curses God because they’re there. The false prophet and the antichrist. They will be able to do miracles and convince the kings of the world.
That is the world leaders. To come against who? Israel. It’s Israel’s fault.
All of these things are happening because of Israel. We just get rid of Israel and all of these curses will stop. And so this is the sixth curse.
For they are the spirits of devils working miracles which go forth unto the kings of the earth. And for the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold I come as a thief.
Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments. Lest he walk naked and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place.
And he called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. The last great battle and invasion against Israel. And it’s going to come all the nations of the world.
And there literally will be none there to save them except God. Daniel is shown some of this. But he is not shown the detail that is shown to John.
Because he is told seal up the book. It will be given later. And then there is the seventh bowl.
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. And there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying, It is done. And there were voices and thunders and lightnings.
And there was a great earthquake such as was not since men were upon the earth. So mighty an earthquake and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts.
And the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon came in remembrance before God. To give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
And every island fled away. And the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven.
Even stones of the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed God because of the plague and the hail. And the plague thereof was exceedingly great.
God’s judgment is coming. And there is nothing man can do to stop it. The only thing you can do is what God calls you to do.
That is repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. So that you won’t have to be there to experience the judgment. And it is interesting you go on and you can read about the last battle of Armageddon.
Satan will think he has finally done it. Why do the Iranians say it is a blessing that all of the Jews are coming back to Israel. Because we can drop one bomb on Israel and kill them all.
That is Satan’s goal. Kill all the Jews. Because then God can fulfill his promises that he has made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
He can fulfill his promises that he has given throughout all of Scripture. From the book of Genesis all the way to the end of Revelation. There will be no thousand year reign of Christ.
Christ cannot come back because he is coming back. And he is coming back to deliver the Jewish people. And they will look upon him whom they pierced.
And they will acknowledge that he is their Messiah. And you will have one third of Israel that will be left alive at this time. Who will see Jesus redeem them as all the nations of the world come against them.
I challenge you to look at what is happening in the world right now. And see whether the Bible is being lived out before our eyes. My mother-in-law is currently in the hospital.
She is going to be 95 years old in July. My wife told me that her father who studied Bible prophecy. Who would go to hear men speak on Bible prophecy.
He told her, I am never going to see these things in my life. But you will see them in yours. We are seeing them.
And what an amazing thing that the Bible is exactly what the Bible said it is. And so why don’t people want to believe that God is who God says he is. Why don’t they believe when he shows his righteousness, his holiness, his purity.
His forgiveness, his love. That they believe in that. But instead they would rather embrace the lies of Satan and death and wickedness and evil.
And align themselves to face God’s wrath and judgment instead of to face his love and embrace. That is the depth of the wickedness of sin. That is how Satan can deceive us.
Jesus was exactly right when he said he is the father of lies. He was a murderer and a thief. He came to kill, destroy and steal.
And people would rather follow a thief, a murderer and a liar. Instead of walking the truth. Well, Daniel is opening up.
He was given the fact that there was three and a half years. We looked at what was going to happen during those three and a half years. We also looked at man’s response.
What is going to be during those three and a half years. Curse God. It is God’s fault.
And ultimately Satan is going to say it is the Jews fault. Let’s all go kill all the Jews. Then we will have deliverance.
But then you will feel the full wrath of God. Let’s just close in prayer. Heavenly Father I pray that you would just speak to us through your word.
Help us to understand the seriousness of the hour in which we live. The lateness of the hour. But also help us to see that you have said you would give us blessings beyond our comprehension.
You give to us your spiritual blessings. You give to us spiritual gifts. You enable us to walk in your power and your might.
In spite of the wickedness in the world. You are with us and will be there to walk with us. And Lord help us to look for that day where you shall return for your bride to church.
And put all the events into motion which will culminate in your establishment of your kingdom upon earth. Where every knee shall bow and every tongue confess your Lord. Lord help us to walk with anticipation.
And to walk in obedience. And to walk in fulfillment of your calling. This we ask in Jesus name.
