1 Peter 3:8-12, the Lord is against them that do evil
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him…
1 Peter 3:1-7, Subjection and Win
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which…

There is a multi-layered…

Values today seem to be driven by whoever has the power and access to the loudest voice at any given moment. At the heart of this shift from absolutes to moral relativism is the church. There is a movement that has infiltrated Christianity that has…
Why do we believe what we believe?
There are questions that we should all take time to ponder and ask ourselves. Three of these questions I would challenge you to think about are: Why do we believe what we believe? Who influenced us to believe what we believe? What gives these individuals or organizations the authority to become an influence in our lives? Many people believe what they believe because they grew up with the influence of their parents, family and friends who believed what they now…
