Sermons by Pastor Glenn Knudson
Pastor Glenn Knudson graduated from North Dakota State University in 1974, becoming involved in the glass contracting business following graduation. In 1987 five families along with Glenn and his wife Roberta started Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fargo, ND where Glenn has been the pastor since. Pastor Knudson has a burden to see the body of Christ stand for truth in the midst of a relativistic culture, reflecting the character of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as fulfilling the great commission, reaching the lost with the gospel.
Jesus Described in the Word
This evening, I’d like to take a look at, in Daniel, and in other portions of Scripture, the Lord has given different names which refer to parts of His character. And we’re going to be taking a look at those, some of those this evening. And so before we begin, let’s just bow in prayer. Father, I pray that You just speak to us through Your Word this evening. And Father, I pray that You would help us to look…
What does the Bible Teach About the Millennial Kingdom
What does the Bible teach about the millennial kingdom and the things that are coming? And then on Wednesday, we’ll be looking at some of the names of Jesus biblically that talk aboutHim and the millennial. The word millennium, as we talked of last week, means a thousand years. It’s mentioned six times in Romans 20, which we mentioned last time. The coming of the Messiah will make it all possible, and we mentioned that last Sunday as well. And a…
Rom 2:17-29; Hypocrites
A direct critique of religious hypocrisy. The false security being religious without relationship with Jesus. This morning we want to continue in our study through the book of Romans And so if you have your Bibles with you this morning if you would turn with me to the book of Romans chapter 2. Paul is writing the book of Romans for a couple reasons one to challenge the church which was in its infancy stages at this point in time…
Ezekiel 43:1-12, The Millennial Kingdom
This evening, I’m going to look at a topic that I think our church is very excited about. But in a lot of churches, it’s very controversial. And that’s the Millennial Kingdom. Just to give you some background on what’s happening in the church today, the Bible spoke about, and one of the things that Jesus said as he was talking to his disciples, and he was talking to them and he was also directing them to what the attitude…
Ezekiel 40:1-4, Part 3, Prophecies dealing with the last days
We’re going to be taking some more overview of Ezekiel’s vision of the fourth temple, which is the temple that the Lord Jesus will rule and reign from. And last Wednesday evening, we looked at the things that would be found in the temple. And we found some various things that would be there. It would be a place of prayer, a place of remembrance, a place of peace, a place of preaching. It would also be a place of…
The Purpose of the Tabernacle and the Temple
God created and established the tabernacle and temple worship as a place where he would be able to meet with his people. They would be able to experience him and his power and glory. This evening I’d like to take a look at why did God have the temple built. Why did he have first the tabernacle under Moses, and then the temple built by Solomon, and then the second temple built by Ezra and the returning Jews from Babylon,…

And we’re going to be taking a look at the beginning of chapter 2 this morning, and the last verse of chapter 1. So verse 32 of chapter 1, and then we’ll begin by reading a portion of chapter 2. Paul is speaking of, in the last verse here,…
Ezekiel 40:1-4, Part 1, God’s Plan to Tabernacle with His People
We come to chapter 40 in the book of Ezekiel. And it’s interesting as you look at chapter 40, it’s really speaking, I believe, of the millennial kingdom. Ezekiel has been called to bring the prophetic word to the nation of Israel that has been enduring tremendous persecution and it’s really been a chastisement from the Lord because of the rebellion against him. They have been put in a position where the vast majority of the Jewish people had been…
Ezekiel 39:1-12, Destruction of the armies of Gog
This is a continuation of what was being talked about in the last portion of chapter 38, the battle of Gog and Magog with Israel and God delivering them. Before we begin, let’s just bow in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity you give to us to gather this afternoon. We pray that you would just help us to discern your word and may your spirit guide and direct us. This we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.…
Romans 1:22-32, Humanity’s fall and downward progression
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.…
Ezekiel 38:16-23, Future end-times invasion of Israel by a foreign coalition led by Gog.
This evening, if you have your Bibles, turn with me again to the book of Ezekiel. And we come again to chapter 38, the last portion of this chapter. Last Sunday afternoon, we were looking at the first portion of chapter 38, where the Lord revealed that there’s going to come a confederacy of nations that will attack Israel. At the heart of this confederacy will be Russia, Turkey, Persia, or Iran, Sudan, Libya. And we see that as you…
