Dan 11:21-45 Explained, The Rise of the Anitchrist

Dan 11:21-45 Explained, The Rise of the Anitchrist

Daniel 11:21-45 describes a vile ruler who gains power through deception and flattery, persecutes God’s people, exalts himself above all gods, and moves toward an end-times military conflict.

This morning, if you have your Bibles and will turn with me to the book of Daniel, we want to continue our study through Daniel. We’re in chapter 11, chapter 11 of Daniel. We’re coming to the last portion of chapter 11 where it talks about Antichrist Epiphanies.

Daniel 11:21-45 Explained: The Rise of the Vile Person

Daniel 11:21–45 is one of the most intense prophetic passages in Scripture. It describes the rise of a “vile person,” a ruler who gains power through deception, flattery, and political manipulation. As the chapter unfolds, Daniel records wars, betrayals, religious persecution, and a final global conflict—details that many believe point beyond ancient history toward the coming Antichrist and the last days.

I wanted to give just a little bit of a summary again of last week because I didn’t have a lot of specific facts. I was just referring generally to events that occurred. But you can go and historically look up all the events that Daniel records in the whole chapter 11 as he is dealing with historical events that would occur, but it would occur a couple hundred years after Daniel lived.

And these events, why would the Bible put them in there? They’re directly related to Israel. If you had a map up here, which I probably should have put one up, you would see why Israel is the center of all of these events that are going on right now, and why they’re at the center of the events in the world today. A lot of people don’t understand geographically where Israel is.

Israel is at the center of three continents. It’s at the center of Africa, Asia, and Europe. It’s a meeting point throughout the history of the land of Israel, throughout the history of that area of the world.

Where Israel is is the crossing point. It was the trade routes. It’s where everybody went.

It’s also what God declared was His. It was His land. It was His mountain, Mount Zion.

And it would be His temple on Mount Zion, and it would be His people that He put in the land. Now, their condition to enjoying the land was conditional on their obedience to the Lord. He never said, you disobey me, I’m taking away my promise, you’re not going to have title to the land.

Never said that. He just said, you disobey me, and there’s going to be consequences. And these consequences are foretold in Scripture.

My wife just happened to be reading in Deuteronomy this morning, and she said it was amazing to read there, how God prophetically spoke of events that would occur thousands of years later. And it was spoken of in Deuteronomy, they were dealing with the nation of Israel. And it was speaking with the fact that they were going to be dispersed, not once, not twice, but they were going to be dispersed three times.

And the last time, in Deuteronomy, which Moses wrote, they would be dispersed throughout the whole world. And not only that, would the Jewish people be dispersed throughout the whole world, but it says they would be despised by the whole world. And no matter what they tried to do, they’d wake up in the morning, and they’d be fearful.

They’d get up at night, they’d be fearful, because what is going to happen to us? I don’t know if any of you ever saw the movie Fiddler on the Roof, but you remember the Fiddler as they’re leaving, and he’s on his cart of belongings, and he’s going, this is a blessing to be a Jew, because they had this judgment upon them by God, because they were disobedient. He’s gone through Isaiah, Jeremiah, we’re going through Ezekiel and Daniel right now. And the thrust of all of these prophets was to bring a message to Israel, and through Israel, to the whole world.

But for proclaiming to Israel, your disobedience has consequences. God had called them and made them a nation. They were to be a light to the world.

And they still will be a light to the world. The thing is, what’s amazing, as you look at the nation of Israel, it is through them that God gave us His Word. The authors of this book are Jewish.

The prophets were Jewish. The apostles were Jewish. Not only that, we see that the line, as we’ve talked before, the line of the Messiah, wasn’t coming through the Norwegians.

It wasn’t coming through the Swedes or the Germans or the Africans or the Irish. It was coming through the Jews. And it was coming through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Judah and David.

And the Messiah would come. And when the Messiah would come, he wasn’t coming to the capital of some foreign country like England. He didn’t go to London.

He didn’t go to Sweden. He went to Israel. And he went to Jerusalem.

And he entered Jerusalem on the very day, as we saw in Daniel, as he laid out the 70 weeks in the last, the first 69 of those 70 weeks, on the last of the first 69 weeks of years, we see that Jesus entered to the day into Jerusalem to do what we celebrated this morning, to die on the cross for our sins, as we remember what He did for us and what this whole thing is about. A lot of people look at this book and they think, well, it’s a boring book. No, it’s not.

It’s the most amazing book in the world. It’s a living book. It’s the only living book in the world because God’s Spirit speaks through this book to everyone who’s a believer and reads it.

And from Genesis to Revelation, it tells one story, the story of God’s love for everyone sitting here and His means of why we’re here, our problem, and how God solved it through Jesus Christ with never taking away from His character, which is a character of love and truth, and that His justice would be maintained throughout this book. And you begin to look at the things that happen and what He speaks to us and reveals to us through this book. It’s amazing.

We’re coming to Daniel’s prophecy. And as Daniel’s speaking, we see that He has given us an overview at the beginning of this book through the visions that He had. And now God is getting more specific.

And He’s coming to the nation of Israel at the time that the Greeks were invading that part of the world. Last Sunday, we looked at the fact that Alexander the Great had ripped through all of the Mediterranean area all the way over to India, into northern Africa, and taken over that whole portion of the world in lightning speed and then died very young. We saw last week that Alexander the Great had heirs, but mysteriously his children and his wife died.

They were murdered. His generals longed for his kingdom, and they split it amongst themselves. The two main kingdoms that were left from the kingdom of Alexander the Great, the Greek kingdom, were the Ptolemies and the Seleucids.

The Seleucids inherited Syria and the northern area of what we would call the Middle East today. The Ptolemies, as we saw last week, inherited Egypt, and initially they inherited the land of Israel. But it’s very interesting throughout the rule of these two families, which extends over a few generations, there is constant war.

Because each one wants to become the ruler of that whole area, and they want the other one out of the way. And do you know who’s in the center of all of this? Israel. And that’s why these battles are here.

And it’s interesting that it shows us something, because there have been historians that have picked up the book of Daniel. They’ve read the account of chapter 11, and they said Daniel could never have written it. It’s too accurate.

He’s talking about the intrigue that went on, people died mysteriously by poison. That’s in there. He’s talking about wars that sprung up.

He’s talking about how the fathers tried to marry their daughters off to the other king, so they could gain insight into that kingdom and have control of that kingdom. How sometimes it worked and sometimes it failed. And he talks about all of that, and he shows us and reveals it, and we’re going to look at it when it comes to Antichrist Epiphanes specifically.

And the historians say there’s no way, it’s too accurate. It’s down to items, and it gives the right order, and it gives the right people. How could that be? Because God knows the beginning from the end.

God revealed it to Daniel on events that were going to happen before they happened. We had this discussion in Sunday school this morning, and we’re wondering, well, how does that work? One of the things you need to understand, God does not force anyone to do anything. God gives us the opportunity to choose.

But yet at the same time, God stands out of time, and it says that He knows the beginning from the end. You choose and make your choices, yet God knows the full consequences, just like He spoke to the nation of Israel in the book of Deuteronomy, that one day, because of your lack of obedience to my word, you’re going to be scattered amongst the nations, and you’re going to remain there until I call you back. And that’s exactly what happened, written 2,000 years before it happened.

This book reveals to us the power of God. And God says, I sent my son so that you could have eternal life. You need to listen.

Let’s take a look at Antiochus Epiphanes. I’m going to give a little background into the two generations before Antiochus, because I didn’t really give you a lot of background. Antiochus was not the only one that was referred to and named Antiochus in the family line.

He was a Seleucid. He was from the northern kingdom. That’s where Antiochus Epiphanes was from.

His grandfather, Antiochus, was also named Antiochus, but he was referred to as Antiochus the Great. His grandfather was at war with the Egyptians. He won, then he lost.

But he’s referred to as the Great because he accomplished great things during his life. And he was on the verge of being able to really take over a lot of that kingdom. And then he was killed.

He was murdered. And he had a son. And his son’s name, I’m trying to find it, but this son was a weak ruler.

Daniel refers to him as the one that came to power, remained in power for a very short time, and was put out of power. And his biggest thing was he taxed the people. And when he came to power, he taxed his subjects horrendously.

And he ended up being killed. Well, he had three children. He had Antiochus, another son that was older than Antiochus, and a daughter.

His older son, or one of the boys, would have to be, because of the constant war that was going on, would have to be put under, really, house arrest, if you would, into the colonies. And Antiochus worked it out so that his brother went instead of him. And while his brother was there, Antiochus took power.

This was typical of Antiochus’ life, and typical of the type of man he was. He was a man who was deceitful. He was a man who understood how to manipulate people.

And he was a man who came into the land of Israel, and his full intention was to fulfill the desires of his grandfather, and turn Israel, and turn them from the God of the Jews, the true and the living God, to worship the Greek God. And he wanted to make Israel, instead of a culture, a biblical culture, a Greek culture. Those were some of his goals.

When he came to power, one of the first things he did was flatter the people and give them money. Sounds like politicians today, doesn’t it? Flatter the people and give them money so they’ll be on your side. Well, before we begin, let’s just read the account of Antiochus Epiphanes out of Daniel from verses 36, rather, I’m sorry, from verses 21 through 35.

I’m going to read about Antiochus Epiphanes in the book of Daniel.

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. 24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. 25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. 26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. 27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. 28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. 30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

That’s a psalm prayer. Father I pray that you just help us to unlock what’s happening and happened thousands of years, 2,000 years ago in the Middle East between Egypt and Syria and Israel and the countries that are surrounding them. Lord help us to see that it’s laying the groundwork for a similar type of person to rise up in the 70th week that you’re going to reveal to Daniel that we refer to as the Antichrist. Lord speak this through your word this morning we pray in Jesus name, Amen.

It’s interesting Antichrist Epiphanes rose and he fell. He was an awful man. I’m going to give you and read because it’ll help you to understand in greater detail some of the historical events that we’ve seen laid out in scripture that did happen. This awful man Antichrist Epiphanes had a deep-seated antipathy towards the Jewish religion.

His heart was against the holy covenant verse 28 by which the Jews were incorporated as a distinct people from all other nations. He hated the law of Moses and the worship of the true God. He was annoyed at the privileges of the Jewish nation and the promises that God had made to them.

He carried on his malicious plans against the Jews with the assistance of some apostate traitors among them. For he kept up correspondence with those who were false to the religion and forsook their holy covenant according to verse 30. And what he did is there were those that when his grandfather had come in and began to institute Greek thought into Jerusalem, there were those who embraced the Greek thought under his grandfather and they further embraced it under Antichrist Epiphanes.

And when he was looking for allies within the Jewish community to keep the Jews subdued and to use them as a tool against the Egyptians, these people jumped and said, we’re here, we’re here. He profaned the temple itself in verse 31, not only with the assistance of his own army, but also with the aid of a great party of those Jewish traitors. Having resolved to bring all people under the yoke of his heathen religion, he took away the Jewish daily sacrifice and then set up an abomination of desolation, the image of Jupiter Olympus in the very Holy of Holies of Jehovah’s temple itself.

And is this an abomination to God? This is one of the reasons that the nation of Israel was judged is because their kings at the time of Jeremiah were doing some of the same thing that this man is doing. And they set up in the temple of God idols and icons. An idol is a statue, an icon is a picture.

They set up idols and icons of false gods that were the gods of the nations around them. And we saw in the book of Jeremiah that some of the men even gathered secretly to hold secret services to false gods, much like Hitler did with his SS, where they gathered together secretly and worshiped the demonic spirits that gave him direction. That’s what the people of Israel were doing at the time of Jeremiah.

That’s why God judged them. That’s why Daniel is in Babylon and then later in the kingdom of the Medes and the Persians. That is why the city of Jerusalem was destroyed.

That is why the temple was destroyed. It wasn’t that God wasn’t powerful enough to protect them and that it wasn’t his temple and his city and his mountains, but it was his judgment that was brought upon Israel and it was in his chastising hand to show them, you need to obey the truth. You who know the truth need to obey the truth.

And so judgment came. This man is further judgment on them. And this man is a precursor to what the Antichrist will be like.

He’s doing a lot of the very same things the scriptures tell us the Antichrist will do in the book of Revelation. He desecrated the holy of holies in the temple. He declared that it was no longer to worship the God, but it was rather to worship the Greek God and he set up a statue of Olympus.

We read in the book of Revelation that the Antichrist, when he comes to power in the 70th week of Daniel, at the midpoint of that 70th week, prior to that he’s done everything his advocates Epiphanes had done. He flattered the people. He gave them money.

He gave them positions. He gave them peace, supposedly. And then at the midpoint he turns his back on the Jews and he seeks to kill them all.

And he sets up and takes over the temple of God and puts himself in the temple and declares himself to be God and that he should be worshiped. That is what the Antichrist is going to do, very similar to what Antichrist Epiphanes did in his invasion. I shared with you a couple Sundays ago, Satan’s always had his Antichrist available because he doesn’t know when God’s time of the 70 weeks is going to start.

He saw when it started and how Jesus had come in on the 69th week, but he doesn’t know in the 70th week starting because God put a halt after the 69th week. It’s referred to as the time of Gentiles. And that’s why you and I are sitting here, because God made a provision where the gospel will be taken to the whole world and Gentiles will be brought in to know the salvation that was experienced only by the Jews prior to that or by those proselyte Gentiles.

So now the gospel has been taken and the gospel message, and I forgot to bring them. I’ll bring them next Sunday. Terry Ironside wrote a really good five-page little article about what is the true gospel, because the true gospel is being preached on churches today. The true gospel isn’t easy believism. The true gospel isn’t easy grace.

The true gospel is that you and I are a sinner doomed to hell because of our sin and rebellion against God. And the only means of salvation that we can find is not in church membership, it’s not in giving money, it’s not in doing good work, but it’s in knowing the one who redeemed us. And that song said, went to the cross and cried out, it’s finished, which in the Greek is patelstoi, which is an accounting term that means the transaction is complete.

The transaction was completed for your sin to be paid by Jesus on the cross, and He who is without sin paid the penalty for your sin. That is a transaction. That is the heart of the gospel.

The gospel can be summed up in Paul’s letter to the Corinthians in chapter 15, beginning at verse 1, and reading down to the first few verses where he says that the gospel is centered on the fact that Jesus went to the cross and was crucified and died according to the scriptures. He was buried according to the scriptures. And He rose again from the bed according to the scriptures.

And He who is without sin paid the penalty for our sin and gained victory over our sin and our death, that we could have eternal life and forgiveness of sin. That is the gospel. It has nothing to do with what you or I can do to help God along.

It has everything to do with what God has done for us. And then not only He doesn’t stop there, but then He gives us His Spirit to indwell us, that we can be conformed to His image, and that you and I can walk in obedience to Him, not because we have to, but because we desire to. And there’s a whole difference.

You can do the same actions for the wrong reason or the right reason. And the right reason is we’re driven by our love for the One who redeemed us, the heart of the gospel. It’s not being preached today.

There’s all kinds and forms of the gospel. And I’m getting sidetracked a bit, but the thing is, it’s being preached. Everything from God has preordained men to heaven and hell to the fact that all people are going to heaven.

False gospels. False gospels. The true gospels.

Well, back to Antichrist Epiphanes. Antichrist Epiphanes, who proceeded to cruelly persecute those who steadfastly retained their integrity and faithfulness to the Lord. Sadly, many forsook the covenant and do wickedly against it.

Yet there is a people who know their God, and they shall be strong and do great things, according to verse 32. And those were the Maccabees, led by the Maccabees. They revolted.

They went in and they cleansed the temple. They reestablished the sacrificial worship. They reestablished the reading of the law.

And that was done under the Maccabees. It’s not in scriptures other than references made to it. The celebration of Hanukkah is in celebration of what the Maccabees did to drive out the false religion that Antichrist Epiphanes is in to do.

When summoned to the tyrant’s demands and surrender their consciences to his imposition, these others bravely stand their ground, resist the temptation, and make the despot himself ashamed of his attempts upon them. The right knowledge of God is and will be the strength of the soul. And in that strength, gracious souls will do great things.

Why did God allow the faithful ones among the Jews to suffer all this? The answer is given in verse 35. It was so that they might be tried, purged, and made white. Their dross would be purged out.

Their troubles would sanctify them by the grace of God. They would be the means of mortifying their corruption, of weaning from the world and awakening them to a greater seriousness and diligence in religion. The suffering for righteousness’ sake would try and purge the nation of the Jews and convince them of the truth and excellency and power of the holy religion, which some of these persons even died for.

But although the cause of the religion may suffer thus, it shall not be run down for good. When God’s people fall, they shall not be utterly cast down, for they shall be helped with their little help. Verse 34.

Judas Maccabees and his brethren and a few of them made headway against the tyrant Antichrist. They pulled down the idolatrous altars, cleansed and purified the temple of the Lord. Those who stood by the cause of truth when it was threatened may not be immediately delivered and made victorious, yet they shall indeed have presented help.

Although these troubles were continued for a long time, yet they would have to come to an end. The power of the enemy shall only come so far according to the purpose and plan of God and no further. Antichrist grew very proud and insolent and profane, being puffed up with his conquests, the main one being over the southern kingdom of Egypt.

He defied heaven and trampled upon everything that was sacred. Verses 36-39. Here in Antichrist is a picture of the great spiritual enemy of the gospel and the kingship, the Antichrist, that is any person or entity or taught system that opposes the gospel and kingship of Christ.

This blasphemous wretch impishly dishonored the God of Israel and the only living and true God, and on defiance of him and his authority he did whatever he pleased against his people and his holy religion. But at last he had run his length and filled up with measure of iniquity. In verse 40, we seem to see another expedition into Egypt or at least a struggle with Egypt.

Now in that he had gotten so proud that he thought he was going to go down and finish off Egypt, go down and totally take the rest of the remnants of the loot that he had left and take it over. But the Romans intervened. The king of Egypt interceded and called upon the Romans to help him.

That is what is referred to as Chittim that we read in Scripture. They came by boat. Antiochus did not have a navy.

He couldn’t fight against them. They came with their boats and their ships. They came from islands in the Mediterranean.

They came and were able to come to the rescue of Egypt and defeat Antiochus Epiphanes so he was not able to overthrow Egypt again. But upon hearing of this, Antiochus the king of the north came flying at Ptolemy like a whirlwind in an incredibly swiftness and fury with chariots and horses and with many ships in this giving march against Egypt. Many countries were overthrown by him.

We see that in verse 41. And he would again enter into the glorious land which was the land of Israel. The last two verses of the chapter contain the prediction of the fall of Israel, of the fall and ruin of Antiochus Epiphanes similar to that which had happened before in chapter 8.25. And he was at the height of his honor, blessed with victory, lorded with spoils.

Then tidings out of the east and out of the north troubled him. In verse 44, he heard rumors of the king of Parthia that was about to invade his kingdom. This obliged him to drop the enterprises that he had in hand and to go against the Parthians.

And when he revolted, that it were revolting from him. And this annoyed him. For now he had plans to utterly ruin and expatriate the Jewish nation.

This expedition, the last great effort of rage against the Jews, when he found that he was baffled and humiliated in his affairs, he went forth with great fury to destroy many. In verse 44, but God cut him off in the midst of his days and none were able to prevent his fall. Those who covet to be feared, they all, when they are in their grandeur, shall full discover that they are loved by none when the time comes of their distress.

And so he ended up dying. His kingdom was destroyed. The thing is, what do we get from this? Why did God put this all in here? We live in a time where we don’t know what’s happening around our world.

You look at our own government. Some days you think they’re over here. No, they’re over here.

They’re doing this. No, they’re doing that. And we don’t know what to believe or who to believe or what to believe.

But I want to tell you one person you can believe and that’s God. And that God’s in control. The Bible’s prophetically told what’s happening in the last days.

Jesus told us what the events would lead up to the last days. We’re seeing all those events. Yet today, the sad thing in the church, many people in the church, they think they’re going to take over the world for Jesus.

Well, I don’t know how Jesus could say things are going to grow worse and worse until it’s going to get so bad that unless I return, there’ll be no men left. But we’re going to take it over for righteousness’ sake. The thing is, we need to read our Bibles.

We need to understand who’s in charge. It’s not the New Britain conglomerate. It’s not the dollar, the petrodollar governed by the U.S. It’s not the various allies that are on each side.

It’s not our president. It’s God. God is the one in control.

Antichrist Epiphanes thought he was in control until God said, enough is enough. My judgment is on you. The Scriptures tell us another is going to arise like him.

We’re going to look at him next week a little bit. The Antichrist. And I want you to realize the whole world is being set up for him right now.

Our own president’s peace board in the Middle East where for a billion dollars you get to join the peace board of the country. I don’t know, if you had a billion dollars maybe you could join it as a person. I don’t know.

But he’s putting together a group of people. And they’re going to take over for the U.N. I want you to tell you the U.N. was created and started to create a one world government. It was created by people who hate God.

And it’s evident by the way they rule. Just look at it. I couldn’t believe one of the things that the U.N. did recently.

They put Iran in charge of the committee that investigates brutality in countries. This is a nation that just like that is killing some say even as many as 90,000 but at least 30,000. So somewhere between 30 and 90,000 of its own citizens.

They’re doing nothing but saying we want freedom. And they gun them down. And they’re burning them and burying them to try and hide the evidence.

They’re put in charge of the committee that oversees this. This is the lunacy of the world. But the U.N. wants to take over the world.

They want Jerusalem. Rome wants Jerusalem. The Roman government wants to be the government of the whole The Roman government wants the Roman religion rather wants to be the religion of the whole world.

That’s why you’re seeing the Pope gathering all the leaders of the religion and saying we’re all worshipping the same God. I am not worshipping the same God as a Hindu, an Islamic, a Muslim, a shaman, an idol worshipper, a spirit worshipper. That’s not my God.

And that tells you the Roman Catholic Church isn’t a Christian church. And the thing is, you can say whatever you want to say you are. But like Dave Hunt said, if you want to bring Eastern mysticism into the church, don’t call it Christian yoga.

Or don’t call it Christian psychology. There is no such thing. And if you say I just do it for stretching exercises or I do it for counseling, go to the Bible and get counseled and say that I’m going to a physical education class to do stretching.

Don’t say you’re doing yoga. The thing is, the Antichrist is going to be like this guy here. Come with flatteries.

Come with gifts. And get people to join in and abandon the truth. And what we’re seeing happen right now in our world today is the groundwork being laid for the Antichrist.

The new economic system is on the verge of being put in place in our own country. I don’t know if you’re aware of that. They want electronic money to get rid of our cash.

See, when I’ve got dollars in my pocket, or I’ve got Canadian dollars in my pocket, or I’ve even got yen in my pocket and that’s all I’ve got, you don’t know where I’m spending my money. But if my money is hooked up to a data center north of Fargo, it’s got all my information in that data center, including all my money and where I buy everything I buy. And I have to do electronic transactions.

Like, for example, Amazon now has got the deal where you walk into the store and as you walk into the store, it scans who you are. It scans your account, how much money you’ve got in your account. You grab what you want to go and you walk out.

You don’t go to a cashier. You walk by the machine. It scans everything that you bought and it takes it off your account.

They want that for every one of your accounts. That’s what they want. You want to know who would love to have that? Because one man cannot control the world unless he can control your finances, unless he can control your every move, unless he can lock you down, unless he can say you can’t go here, but you can go here.

That’s being done. Antiochus Epiphanes did it in Israel. And there were those who stood up and said, I’m not doing it.

People today, there’s choices you can make and we all have to make choices. But they should be biblical choices. Prophecy is very important.

Israel is coming back into the land completely. And Israel will receive all her land. There will be no West Bank.

There will be no Gaza. There will be no talk of cutting out more land. When Jesus comes, Israel is getting everything that was promised through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

And it’s also very interesting. During the tribulation, do you know who will be the group of people that will be preaching the true gospel? 144,000 Jewish young men will go throughout the whole world and will defy the Antichrist and preach the gospel of Christ to a world, many of whom have never heard the gospel, prior to the rapture when the church was taken away. These are in the Bible.

These events. If Daniel foretold it hundreds of years before Antichrist’s epiphany showed up on the scene, how much more did John and Daniel foretell what’s going to happen in the last days that we’re looking towards? Let’s just close in prayer. Lord, I pray that you would just help us to understand this.

Lord, help us not to be fearful, but Lord, help us to work with great anticipation, realizing who’s in control. It’s not our politicians. It’s not even us.

It’s you. And Lord, you have said we have not because we ask not. Lord, help us to ask and help us to walk in the power of your Spirit.

Help us to do those things that you’ve called us to do. Help us to live our lives in the freedom that we have now in a manner that can bring glory to you and we can share the gospel with those that don’t know it. Just we ask in Jesus’ name.

Amen.
