Ezekiel 30, God’s Judgment on Egypt
I want to continue our study through Ezekiel in chapter 30 this evening. Those of you who are here on Sunday afternoon, we look at the fact that God was bringing judgment upon Egypt. And if you look here, here is Egypt and Assyria would have been over here. In Iran and Iraq, this would have been the Assyrian Empire over there. And these were the two main empires at the time in the Middle East. Nebuchadnezzar has come to…
Ezekiel 29 Explained: The Prophecy Against Egypt
This afternoon, if you have your Bibles turn with me to the book of Ezekiel. And we’re going to be looking this afternoon at Ezekiel chapter 29. Ezekiel chapter 29. This chapter is dealing with God’s judgment that he’s going to be bringing against Egypt. Before we begin, let’s just bow in prayer. Lord, I pray that you just speak to us through your word this afternoon. Help us to understand your word. And Lord, I pray that you would…
Daniel and the End Times
This morning, if you have your Bibles, we’re going to continue our study through the writing of Daniel, in the book of Daniel. And so if you turn in the book of Daniel to chapter 12, I’d like again to read from the first few verses of chapter 12 again this morning. Daniel 12:1-4 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of…
Ezekiel 28:20–26 Explained | God’s Judgment on Sidon and Israel’s Future Restoration
In Ezekiel 28:20–26, God turns His attention from Tyre to Sidon, declaring judgment upon a proud and sinful nation. Yet in the midst of judgment shines a powerful promise of restoration for Israel. Ezekiel 28 reminds us that while God judges sin, He also remains faithful to His covenant promises and future redemption plan for His people. 20 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against…
Daniel 12:5-7 Explained | The Time of Trouble and End Times Prophecy
Daniel 12:1-7 brings us to one of the most awe-inspiring prophetic passages in Scripture. In these verses, the prophet Daniel is shown a coming time of unprecedented trouble upon the earth, yet also a glorious promise of deliverance for God’s people. The chapter introduces Michael the archangel standing in defense of Israel, speaks of the resurrection of the dead, and reveals mysteries concerning the final days before God’s kingdom is fully established. These verses remind believers that although darkness and…
Ezekiel 28 and the Spirit of Tyre: Pride, Wealth, Rock Music, and the Fall of Satan
Ezekiel 28 exposes the pride and corruption behind the kingdom of Tyre while revealing the fall of Satan himself. This powerful chapter warns believers about the dangers of pride, worldly influence, and spiritual deception that still dominate culture today—including through music, fame, and entertainment. Ezekiel 28 commentary This evening if you have your Bibles look with me to Ezekiel chapter 28. Ezekiel chapter 28 is a very interesting chapter. The Lord spends a lot of time with Ezekiel looking at…
Rebekah’s Example: A Mother’s Calling and Influence
Motherhood is one of the greatest callings God has placed upon humanity. In Genesis 24:1–31, we are introduced to Rebekah, a young woman whose character, kindness, servant’s heart, and willingness to follow God’s direction would impact generations to come. The Importance of Mothers in God’s Plan This morning, being Mother’s Day, I wanted to bring a message to deal with a mother from the Scriptures. The woman that I’m going to concentrate on this morning, those of you who attend…
Ezekiel 27:1-8 Explained | The Fall of Tyre and the Pride of a Great Nation
This evening if you have your Bibles and will turn with me once again to Ezekiel’s letter and turn to chapter 27. The question is why would God lament over the city of Tyre? As I was looking at preparing the message for this evening, if you look at the history of the world and it’s revealed to us in Scripture. What was happening in a Tyre is not the first time that it had happened in the world. We…
Daniel 12:1–4 Explained: The Time of Trouble, Resurrection, and Sealed Prophecy
Daniel 12:1–4 brings us to one of the most powerful prophetic moments in Scripture, describing a time of unprecedented trouble, the rise of Michael the archangel, and the promise of resurrection for God’s people. These verses point to both judgment and hope—revealing that while the end times will be marked by distress, they will also culminate in deliverance, awakening, and divine truth being revealed. Understanding this passage helps connect Old Testament prophecy with future fulfillment and eternal promises. This morning…
Ezekiel 25, God’s judgment against nations that opposed or mocked Israel
This evening, if you have your Bibles, turn with me to Ezekiel chapter 25. Ezekiel chapter 25. Up until this point, Ezekiel has been basically talking to the nation of Judah, the citizens of Jerusalem in particular, those who have been led into captivity, taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar that he is with, because he was taken into captivity as well, as well as those that remain in Judah and Jerusalem. He has then had a hard message for them…
“Ezekiel 24:15–27 Explained: Why God Forbade Mourning and What It Means”
This afternoon, if you have your Bibles, turn with me to Ezekiel’s chapter 24. We’ll look at verses 12 to the end of the chapter. Ezekiel is asked to do something that is very difficult. As I mentioned, the prophecies and the examples that Ezekiel’s been called to give in chapter 24, the one we studied on Wednesday night, was the parable of the boiling pot. Ezekiel gave this prophecy at the very time that the city of Jerusalem in…
Daniel 11:26-45
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in his estate shall he…
