NOTE: This portion of Hebrews contains the 5th warning passage in the book. as a brief reminder- remember that the target audience for the book is Jewish, some who are already believers in Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel, come who have been exposed to the teaching about Yeshua but have not as yet put their trust in the finished work of our Lord Yeshua. The Jewish Temple is still standing (destroyed in 70 AD), and the sacrificial system is still in place. The message about Yeshua was indeed a difficult one for Jewish people to accept and believe.  Hocking, D. (2007). The messiah of Israel. Tustin, CA: HFT Publications, p.335
